Dorothy brings a wealth of experience in Economic Development and Corporate Strategy from her previous municipal roles.
My Story
I am excited by new challenges where I can help bring innovative ideas to life. In joining the McSweeney team, I found a team of like-minded professionals who offer demonstrated experience and imagination in working with communities across Canada.
I enjoy bringing people and ideas together to stimulate creative thought, coaxing actionable plans from lively white board discussions. I'm known for my direct approach to dissect problems and formulate practical solutions, from downtown revitalization to pandemic response, to long-term strategic plans for economic development.
Travel inspires me. Whether it's a vacation to a different town, city or country, or visiting family and friends, I am often exploring on a bike. It is in these new places that I discover great ideas that often make their way back into local economic development solutions.
